The Post-Ottoman Space: Soft Politics and Hard Choices

​This one year pilot project consisted of 3 workshops and several publications that aimed to identify the most promising avenues of research collaboration on Turkey’s role in the formation of a new regional “commonwealth”. The project focused on local perceptions of Turkey’s enhanced regional role in the Caucasus, southeast Europe, Cyprus, and in particular, the Arab states.​
