Conflict and the Great Powers in the Middle East

This project seeks to investigate the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. The focus will be on the international, regional and national power structures and conflict lines, with particular interest in the role of the great powers.  The project will both investigate the general development in the Middle East and the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in particular. The project has a historical focus and will trace the conflicts in the region from around 1917 until today.
