Peacebuilding in Afghanistan

The aim of this project is to contribute to a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges related to peacebuilding in Afghanistan, informing decisionmaking as well as the general public internationally, in the region, and within Afghanistan.

Kristian Harpviken has in collaboration with CMI researchers Arne Strand and Astri Suhrke written a report on peace-building strategies for Afghanistan, comissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The project is conducted in collaboration with Christian Michelsen Institute.
