Background

Nicos Trimikliniotis is an interdisciplinary scholar working in the fields of law and sociology. He joined PRIO Cyprus Centre as senior research consultant since 2008. He is Assοciate Professor of Law and Sociology at the University of Nicosia. He has researched on ethnic conflict, reconciliation and resolution, constitutional and state and legal theory, integration, multi-culturalism, education, migration, racism, and discrimination and has published several articles, co-authored and co-edited books and journals. He has written many reports as Cypriot national on free movement of workers; integration, migration, discrimination, citizenship and Labour Law.
 
He is on the editorial board of the journals Translocations and Cyprus Review. He has published several articles in books and journals. He is was editor of a monthly journal “Adventures of Ideas” [Περιπέτειες Ιδεών] published with Politis newspaper, 2006-2009 available from http://peripetiesideon.blogspot.com/
