Maria Louise Clausen

Background

​Maria-Louise Clausen is a researcher at the Danish Institute of International Studies (DIIS), in Copenhagen. 

Throughout November 2019 she was a visiting researcher at PRIO’s new Humeval project “Yemen in Context”. Maria has a PhD in Political Science from Aarhus University with a thesis on statebuilding in Yemen, and has extensive experience in researching in and on the country. Her research has been published in Third World Quarterly, Small Wars & Insurgencies, The International Spectactor, and many others.
